I love my country, The United States of America. But I discovered at an early age that my country did not love me. I had to leave The USA and live in Germany to discover equality.
With basic training done, six young men from Detroit headed back home on the train. Some place in Texas, the train stopped so that we could stretch our legs and get a snack.
