We, the champions of equal prosperity for equal effort, believe all persons are gifted with talents and the ability to contribute meaningfully to society. We believe every individual has the right to choose how much or how little he or she contributes. The more an individual contributes, the more he or she shall be rewarded. The less an individual contributes, the less he or she shall be rewarded. If an individual contributes nothing, the individual shall have no place in the community. We, the people of the new Meritocracy, declare objective recognition of Merit for all.

Dissident (The Bellator Saga Book 1)

by Cecilia London

She once was important. Now she’s considered dangerous.

In a new America where almost no one can be trusted, Caroline lies unconscious in a government hospital as others decide her fate. She is a political dissident, wanted for questioning by a brutal regime that has come to power in a shockingly easy way. As she recovers from her injuries, all she has are her memories. And once she wakes up, they may not matter anymore.

Dissident is a blend of romantic suspense, contemporary romance, political thriller, and speculative fiction. Told mostly in flashback, it details the budding romantic relationship between our heroine, Caroline, and Jack, the silver fox playboy who tries to win her heart.

Part One of a Six Part Series. Each part is a full length novel between 60,000-120,000 words and ends in a cliffhanger. For readers 18+. This saga contains adult situations, including non-gratuitous violence, explicit (consensual) sex, psychological and physical trauma, and an oftentimes dark and gritty plot (particularly in part two).

Caroline's journey continues in Conscience, now available for preorder (releases August 17, 2015)!

"With equal parts political thriller and captivating romance, Cecilia London has crafted a novel that's hard to put down and kept me wanting more! I'm looking forward to the next book in the series!" - Melissa Brown, Author of Wife Number Seven

"There’s so much delicious word porn in this book. YES, WORD PORN....It’s unapologetically an intellectual smut novel, which made me all warm in all the right places. There’s suspense, danger, anger, love, and (most importantly) delicious sex. GIVE ME MORE." - Obsessed With My Shelf

"Behind all the information about elections and scandals is a beautiful love story that touched my heart. I fell in love with Caroline and think that Jack is one sexy man!" - Carol, StarAngels' Reviews

"Cecilia London has one powerful and chaotic series breaking out of the gates at full speed! Is it a political suspense novel? Romantic suspense? Dystopian political romantic suspense? All I know is this is one riveting tale that packs a wallop....At no point could I see where this would end up and I must say, the ride to the finish and balancing on the edge of this cliff hanger is well worth the ticket to ride!" - Dianne, TomeTender

The Vigilante Terrorists

by Joe Messerli

The media would immediately label them “domestic terrorists”. However, they were unlike any typical terrorists that would come to mind. All were highly intelligent and well-educated. None of them were particularly religious. None subscribed to any far-right or far-left political ideology. They were made up of a tight-knit unit of highly-trained individuals, both civilian and ex-military. Their planned targets aren’t politicians but the powerful people that keep them in office—the media, the behind-the-scenes smear groups, the political financiers, and others who had destroyed countless lives without consequences. These terrorists were preparing to launch a war, a long overdue Revolution.Meanwhile, a third-party presidential candidate, Brett Martinez, has taken the nation by storm and is a serious threat to break the two-party stranglehold of power in America, but Democratic and Republican forces are mobilizing behind the scenes to fight back, forming a temporary alliance to bring down the newcomer before he can shake the system to its core and change the foundations of the American political system forever. What will happen when the same forces trying to destroy Martinez are themselves targeted for assassination?

Just how far did Bradley and his team go to cause the by-election in the first place? Will Harvey’s worst nightmare come true, in that he might actually win? And how bad does it have to get for a candidate before their loyal party supporters will refuse to vote for them?As each candidate increasingly has to defend themselves against more and more serious accusations, both they and the people they love soon realise that there's far more at stake for them all than just who will end up winning the election.

Objective:Freedom: Part One of the Series Secession

by James Huber

Objective:Freedom reflects the current times and the state of the Government this story looks at the actions of the internal workings of five states that cannot support the union. The President of the United States tries to preserve the economic might of the U.S., but merely makes matters worse with his activities. Five Southwestern states, influenced by an ultra-conservative governor of Texas decides that they can no longer sustain the welfare giveaways and the wasteful foreign aid. The five states form their own country and the U.S. is powerless to do something about it. Governor Kyle Harris, of Texas, leads the other governors to restore a sense of orderliness. The Texas Rangers are nationalized. The President of the U.S. bows out under pressure and an Army General then steps in to take his place. The General is assisted by the Ambassador from England. The lady Ambassador, with her extensive background, tries to soothe the bitterness between the countries. She tries for an alliance and ends up in one with the General. In the meantime, Iranian forces are seeking to break up the new government with assassination attempts, and corrupting government officials with drugs and internal relations. The narrative demonstrates how things could go out of control and what it may need to bring them back into control before the U.S. is lost to both inner and external strengths.. Draconian corrections were immediately enacted, with virtual elimination of welfare programs. Meanwhile, back in Washington the status quo reacted with great hubris, pomp and bluster, but without consensus or much resolve. This book was one that will draw you in, and you will not want to stop reading until you reach the end. I suspect people of all political stripes will find much to enjoy in this tale. The action stretches from Texas to D.C. to the deserts of Iraq and Southern California.
