by Alan Johnstone

Benny the lion is crying because he thinks he did something bad. his mommy and daddy are fighting and they don' t play with him so much anymore.

This story helps children to understand that they are not to blame when their parents are in conflict and offers parents who have fallen into this trap a chance to rectify the problem.

Children learn through stories and easily associate with the characters in stories. This natural tendency provides a parent a wonderful opportunity to guide his or her child’s behaviour and feelings and teach them understandings with which to improve their EQ.

In the ebook, notes are provided which teach parents, educators and play therapists the valuable skills of story telling. The notes are interspersed in the story and explain why certain words and ideas are offered in the story.

Final Word/About the Author

An excerpt from the book:
Some people say it goes by fast, while some people say the first year lasts an eternity. No matter how it feels to you, the first year of your child’s life is a big deal! After the first year, your baby will have already reached 40% of their adult height and their brains will already be 80% of their full size. These are some serious growing happening all at once!
In addition to physical growth, experiences early in life can also play a significant role in development. While your child’s brain is growing, they are also building connections and defining their surroundings in ways that may influence how they view the world for their entire lives. Although child development experts do not agree on everything, they all agree that the first year will leave a lasting impact on your child’s life-long health and happiness.
If you’re like most new fathers, you probably feel like you don’t know what you’re doing right now. You’re probably also sleep-deprived and covered in spit-ups. Your partner in life, on the other hand, might be struggling even more being — exhausted, emotional, and suffering from leaky breasts. Like everything in life, you need some time to learn how to become a parent, while at the same time doing some of the hardest parenting work right away! No new dad feels like they have it all figured out. Going from childless to having an infant is one of the biggest changes your life will ever face. Nothing will ever be the same again.
The following sections will guide you on how to manage your baby’s first four to six months of life, and all the tips found here are especially for dads. The good news is that if you’re reading this, you clearly care about being a good father. So even if you feel lost, you’re already several steps ahead of the pack. Yes, babies are hard work. Your life will never be the same. But as long as you’re willing to devote time and attention, give plenty of love, and use a little common sense… you and your child will be just fine.

Kid’s Behavior: 15 Tips to Tame Tantrums & Outbursts

by Stefano Marotta

Imagine a world where every child is born with their very own instruction manual. A world where your infant’s every need can easily be identified, and your toddler’s tantrums not just anticipated but warded off. While this utopian scenario might seem far-fetched; ridiculous even, to the vast majority of people. A lot of parents seem to approach parenthood with the expectation that some magic fairy is going to come along and sprinkle a load of fairy dust over the cooing infant as soon as it is delivered. They expect that they will “intuitively” know how to cope with a toddler that is lying down in the supermarket aisle and refusing to budge. That they will be able to cajole “Molly” or “Mike” into brushing their teeth, or getting dressed for Preschool. Instead of signing up for parenting classes, or reading a parenting manual, parents often decide to “wing it.”
Don’t get me wrong. There is nothing wrong with trusting your gut-instinct, and winging it will sometimes get you a long way; all the way even. Especially if you have a solid support network in place. Grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends and neighbors can seem like a Godsend when you are living off caffeine and just two hours sleep. Shared experiences and a sense of perspective can sometimes be infinitely more helpful than a conversation with a stranger. But what happens when they not? What do you do at three a.m. when your toddler is screaming blue murder? How do you cope then?
Parenthood doesn’t have to be a never-ending obstacle course. It doesn’t have to be a constant battle of wills; a deadly game of brinkmanship with you and the devil child that you spawned. Parenthood is a gift. What you do with that gift will affect not just your life but the lives of those closest to you for decades to come. Following my 15 tips to tame tantrums and outbursts will not only make the next few months and years easier to cope with. It will enable you fall in love with your child every single day that you are together.

How to Fail at Life: Lessons for the Next Generation

by Mark Aspelin

How to fail at life… and turn your failure into success

The late, great, personal development guru Jim Rohn lamented, “It’s too bad failures don’t give seminars. Wouldn’t that be valuable? If you meet a guy who has messed up his life for forty years, you’ve just got to say, ‘John, if I bring my journal and promise to take good notes, would you spend a day with me?’”

Well, Jim, your wish has come true. A longtime expert in the art of failing at life, author Mark Aspelin is ready to spend time with you to share some of the best methods he’s encountered for how to fail at life. Mark has done a fine job at implementing many of these practices over the course of his 46 years with impressively dismal results: alcoholism, divorce, debt, career uncertainty, and a lack of clarity about his purpose and direction in life ... some good stuff that you’ll find entertaining and worth your time.

How to Fail at Life is the ultimate “what not to do” guide, filled with stories of self-inflicted catastrophes, completely avoidable suffering, and mindless forms of life wreckage … with some inspiring tales of recovery and redemption along the way.

This book is for you if:

You’re a parent who wants to teach your kids how to live a life filled with happiness and meaning;

You’re experiencing a mid-life crisis and you’re ready to chart a new course for your life;

or you’re simply feeling down or disappointed after messing up a few things in your life and you’re looking for a book that will cheer you up.

Learn how to FAIL SMART

You won’t find any fancy buzzwords or “secret formulas” that are guaranteed to give you fame, fortune, enlightenment, and six-pack abs in 30 days without leaving your couch. Mark has read a bazillion books in the personal development space and quickly found that the principles of success are simple and consistent and have been documented ad nauseam. Why are the same success principles used again and again? Simple. They work.

Mark has packaged these life lessons within stories of people who’ve learned them through the School of Hard Knocks. You’ll find true, inspirational stories of failure and redemption. You’ll see a few household names that you may know well, as well as some obscure and unknown names.

If Mark has done his job well, you’ll also see a bit of yourself in these stories. After all, that’s one of the goals of this book: to give you a chance to pause, reflect, and say, “Hey, that’s me!” Then you can decide if you need to make some changes to get back on track.

There really is a right way and a wrong way to fail in life. The right way to fail is to let others do it for you and learn from their mistakes. Staggering amounts of time and suffering can be avoided by learning from the mistakes of others. When it comes to failure, it’s better to watch the movie than be a character in it. Rest assured, you’ll still have plenty of opportunities to fail in life, but you might as well narrow down the list so you’ll fail “smart.”

This one’s for you, Jim Rohn. Mark is happy to spend a day with you to show how failure is really done.

Buy this book and get ready to take some notes.
