Mykal's Second Deadly Journey: Towbar's World: Book 4

by Dave Hazel

Mykal’s adventure in Towbar’s world continues with another dangerous and deadly adventure to the other side of Towbar’s world. Mykal is on a mission to rescue the Princess Doninka who had been captured by the forces of Zizmon-Tarl during the battle to take over the land of Labins. Zizmon-Tarl sent his special mix of forces; dragons, Goblins and other creature to assist the Sosos in their long time quest to conquer Towbar’s land. To help Towbar’s people the President of the United States sent Towbar One, a mix of special elite forces from around the world that include US Marines, US Army Green Berets, Army Rangers, US Navy SEALs, United Kingdom Royal Marines, SAS, Korean Special Forces, French Foreign Legion, Canadian Special Service Forces, Australian SAS, Special Units from the Soviet Union and others. The special blend of elite forces make up Towbar One sent on a mission to rescue Towbar’s people; Operation Towbar’s Sword. When Mykal had returned to the real world to acquire more forces; men, weapons, ammunition and supplies, dragons flew into the Pass in search of the Princess Doninka. The goal was to ransom Doninka, to swap her for her father King Loankore III. If successful and King Loankore steps down from the throne his son, the evil Locod would assume the position of King. Locod had been rumored to be in league with the Sosos and Zizmon-Tarl, thus the last of the free world would fall.Mykal needs to rescue the Princess Doninka within 32 days to prevent the swap to occur. All involved believe if the swap occurs the Sosos will take the opportunity to kill both Doninka and her father the King, which would in turn put the kingdom in Locod’s hands for sure. Mykal and Towbar with a force made up of US Marines, US Army Green Berets, Army Rangers and other soldiers along with Elves, Dwarves, a magician and some of the warriors from Towbar’s world. Mykal’s force of 76 will traverse the dangerous lands on the other side of the world for a second time in search of Zizmon-Tarl’s castle in the hopes of finding and rescuing the Princess Doninka before the deadline. Most of the survivors from the original Lost Patrol who had been lost on the other side of that world just a month prior have elected to help. The strange creatures and evil forces they had to encounter the first time prepare them for the possibility of the dangers they could face. While they journey through the strange lands on the other side of the world Mykal realizes he is tormented by the magic ring he found the first time he was on this side of the world. The ring enables him to turn invisible, but his emotions are pulled in many different directions. From super sensitive heart wrenching feelings that he calls his ‘sissy emotions’ to his hostile explosive rage that is capable of unleashing violent fury on any whom cross him that he calls his ‘bully emotions’. He knows he can’t part with the mighty powerful magic weapon due to those would try to kill him back in the real world. The rescue of Doninka is of first importance, ending his mental battles due to the magic he possesses will have to be put on hold until the mission to rescue Doninka is over. That is if his mental state will last that long.Book 4 is not a stand-alone book. Books 2 and 3 should definitely be read before reading Book 4, and to get the full story, the first Book in the Towbar’s World Series should be read first; 37 Days In A Strange World. Like the previous 3 books, Book 4 is filled with lots of action, twists and turns, shocking surprises and Dave Hazel’s unique sense of humor.

A triple pronged attack with chemical, biological, and radiological weapons has been 5 years in the planning and it's about to be unleashed on an unsuspecting, unprepared population. An After Action Battle: The Battle Back Home

by Jason Mittnight

It’d been a little more than five years since John got back from his deployment. He thought he could continue where he left off, but something was different. Something that wasn’t there before, now accompanied him through relationships, interests, work and all other aspects of his life. What started, hardly as a whisper, grew into a child with a temper tantrum and a megaphone. After numerous counselors, handfuls of meds and the rings-around-the-rosy group therapy sessions, nothing was made any clearer for John. When his pills weren’t potent enough, alcohol was added to make up the difference.John then gave up on the outside help and started his own research side-by-side with his journal, meds, and alcohol. What bothered him most; aside from the ever-pestering ‘Why?’, was the unidentified, inaudible ‘voice’ that tormented him. He felt something or things clashing, perhaps a much heightened state of what psychologist’s describe as the id, ego, and superego. Whatever it was, it was a battle John was losing and he needed to get to the bottom of it before It decided a fate for him, without his choosing...

Simulation: The Dawn of a Superhero - SAMPLE: A Lesbian Fiction Action Adventure

by Sam Skyborne

Set in a dystopian future when, after a decade of war, the United Kingdom is on it's knees, ruled by strict martial law and where any 'deviant' behaviour like homosexuality or lesbianism is punishable in a manner worse than death--the perpetrators are forcefully 'reset'. Samantha Fielding, an emotionally scarred war hero, struggles to adapt to 'normal' life so she enlists in a top secret scientific research programme. Here, not only is she pushed way beyond her physical and emotional limits in order to unleash powerful and potentially lethal dormant human abilities, she also finds herself dangerously falling for the principal scientist, Dr Victoria Henderson - risking everything. Why write 'Simulation: The Dawn of a Superhero'?Well, since I was an adolescent I always liked science fiction & fantasy stories, particularly if it involved a strong female main character, a kick-ass female hero. Up until relatively recently there was not been much like that around. Finding a lesbian or, more generically, a “queer woman”* who is a kick-ass superhero is even more rare. So, I came up with a few stories of my own and this is basically the first one with hopefully more to come soon.It has always been my dream to write stories that show women, lesbians or queer women*, living exciting lives, embarking on exciting proactive empowered adventures, rather than focusing solely on “coming out” or “finding Miss/Mrs Right” or worse, jumping off buildings or committing suicide. We are more than our sexuality or gender.Yes, Simulation is a love story. No it is not a traditional Superhero story. I like to think that the romance is a significant added complication in what is also a bit of an interesting action adventure futuristic story. Will Sam ever get to wear a Superhero mask and a cape?} This is not your traditional Superhero comic. I think wearing mask and capes is quit significant in all of our lives at some point or another if not constantly. So, yes, so does Sam, on many levels. How can your readers find out about the next book releases or specials?I strongly suggest that they join our VIP Members mailing list here: http://dukebox.life/subscribe/DukeBox.life is a new joint venture platform we are building to host and publish multi-media (focusing mainly on fiction and film) content for “queer women"* and those who love them.*Queer women = Women of all ages, races and cultures who do not feel they fit in the “traditional girly-girl” norm by virtue of their attitude, gender or preferences.

THE BARONS' WAR: Previously Published as MAGNA CARTA

by H A Culley

REVIEWS OF H A CULLEY’S PREVIOUS BOOKSI’m not usually somebody who will read a book from cover to cover in one sitting but I couldn’t put this one down. The author really knows his British history and really can tell a good story that should appeal to all ages from teen on up. Another solid, good read from H A Culley.I thoroughly enjoyed this book from start to finish.PRODUCT DECRIPTIONThis historical novel is set in the 13th Century covering the last two years of the reign of King John of England from 1214 to 1216. It is the story of the struggle between King John and his barons which eventually led to the Magna Carta features William Marshall, called the Greatest Knight in Christendom. England came very close to putting a French king on the throne, which would have changed the course of our history. It was only thanks to William Marshall that John was succeeded by his son, Henry III, and the Plantagenets continues to rule England for the next two hundred and seventy years.

Geo-satellite keycodes were sold by our nation's political power brokers; the rest, being strategic military satellites, all hacked and rendered useless.
