Preamble: In Defense of the Fetus: THE PREAMBLE STATES THE U.S. CONSTITUTION WAS ORDAINED AND ESTABLISHED FOR OURSELVES AND OUR POSTERITY. THE FETUS LINKS THE NEXT GENERATION AND IS POSTERITY.

by Bernard M. Coyle

The Preamble states that the U.S. Constitution was ordained and established for ourselves and our posterity. Posterity means all succeeding generations. The only way to reach the next generation is the chain of life through human reproduction. The fetus is the most important link to the next generation. The fetus is posterity. Mr. Coyle points out that those who do not want the fetus; will dissect it as not being human. Whereas the entire world recognizes; at the first instant that a woman is said to be pregnant, she is with life; and will go through the normal nine month gestation required of a human being The honored woman instinctively swings into action mentally and physically to prepare for the coming blessed event. She knows that her body is the cradle of the family's most precious asset - a human being and the next generation. Mr. Coyle also describes the legal chain of two human entities; combining to make three entities, which morph into one legal human entity - the fetus. Mr. Coyle describes how the U.S. Supreme court erred; when it did not recognize the rights and responsibilities of the male; the rights and responsibilities of the female; and the rights and life of the fetus. Mr. Coyle describes in detail all of these rights and responsibilities. WITHOUT THE FETUS, THERE IS NO POSTERITY.

Longevity: Myths and Facts

by Kaup Shetty

The article is based on forty years of experience as a Geriatrician, Internist and Endocrinologist, in addition to teaching and research as faculty at a Medical College. Weight control with a balanced diet, regular exercise, and social interaction in old age extends life span. No medication is shown to extend longevity. Statins in cardiovascular disease (CVD) and metformin in metabolic syndrome may prolong life. Vitamins with supplements, and antioxidants routinely taken in pill form, seem to increase the incidence of CVD and cancer because excess dosage may stimulate cells. Our diet has adequate vitamin D and calcium. Experts advocate against the routine measurement of vitamin D in the general population because this may lead to over treatment. Aspirin is not indicated in healthy persons unless there is a high CVD risk. Fish oil does not seem to prevent heart attacks and strokes. Indiscriminate cancer screening is harmful since it leads to over diagnosis and over treatment. Indications for cardiac bypass surgery and stent insertion is less nowadays and emphasis is on conservative medical management. Immunotherapy against cancer is a major advancement. Growth hormone, testosterone, and estrogen replacement in the elderly shows minimal benefit, but has the potential for significant side effects including CVD and cancers. What is a good diet? Controversy of eggs and fats. All of the proceeds from this article will be sent from Amazon Kindle directly to the American Red Cross, Tax I.D. 53-0196605.

Without a Trace: 1881-1968

by Sylvia Wrigley

True Stories of Aircraft and Passengers Who Disappeared Into Thin AirFor many, aviation still brings with it an air of mystery, a century-long magic trick. Though most of us will board an aircraft at some point in our lives, we know little about how they work and the procedures surrounding their operation. It is that mystery that makes these losses, such as the vanishing of Malaysia Airlines flight 370, so terrifying.Without a Trace explores the most interesting of these disappearances: mysteries that have baffled investigators for years. Occasionally tragic, frequently amusing, Without a Trace is unerringly accurate and informative. The two Without a Trace volumes span 150 years and explore mysteries from around the world. This is volume one, beginning just before the golden age of aviation with a manned balloon swept over the English Channel, and ending with a top-secret spy plane disappearing at the height of the cold war. Each case is laid out in rich detail and presented chronologically, highlighting the historical context, official accident reports and contemporary news surrounding each mystery.Where did they go?Sylvia Wrigley introduces the crews, innocent bystanders and rescuers in this collection of true stories. Documenting the popular theories from each case, she uses her knowledge and experience as a pilot and an aviation journalist to demystify aviation jargon and narrow down each disappearance to the most likely explanations. This collection takes a hard look at the human failings of great aviators, explorers and celebrities who have pushed the limits of flight and ended up at the heart of a mystery. The stories encompass airships, military jets and commercial airlines - all of which have vanished without a trace.

Mobile Professional Voluntarism and International Development: Killing Me Softly?

by Helen Louise Ackers

This book is open access under a CC BY license. This book explores the impact that professional volunteers have on the low resource countries they choose to spend time in. Whilst individual volunteering may be of immediate benefit to individual patients, this intervention may have detrimental effects on local health systems; distorting labour markets, accentuating dependencies and creating opportunities for corruption. Improved volunteer deployment may avoid these risks and present opportunities for sustainable systems change. The empirical research presented in this book stems from a specific volunteering intervention funded by the Tropical Health Education Trust and focused on improving maternal and newborn health in Uganda. However, important opportunities exist for policy transfer to other contexts.

RIDING THE RAILS THROUGH MOROCCO - NORTH TO SOUTH: This book will provide you with the knowledge to travel by train in Morocco.

by Rolfe Pope

On my first trip to Morocco, I flew round trip from Casablanca from Marrakesh for a day trip. Getting to and from Casablanca by airplane took more time than I got to spend visiting the city. For my next visit I did not want to spend all my time airports. I wanted to see the Country, have time to enjoy the sites and experience Morocco.

When I started planning a second trip to Morocco, I had no idea what to expect, where to start, or where to go. So I began to research for my trip. My friends Larry and Patty, who had previously visited Morocco, shared their experiences, places to visit and most of all influenced me to be adventurous and plan my own unique tour of Morocco by Rail. While Larry and Patty did not travel by rail, I noticed that I could travel to many of the places they visited using the Moroccan National Railways Office, Office National des Chemins de Fer du Maroc (ONCF).

I started my research anew after considering the things I learned from Larry and Payyt. For train schedules and prices, I used the ONCF website (http://www.oncf.ma). It is written in French, but it is pretty easy to find things. After studying schedules, making hotel reservations, and airline reservations, I was ready to go.

My rail trip, described in this book, was a real adventure. It was a safe and easy trip, made more enjoyable by interacting with the friendly Moroccan people along the way.

My hope is this book will inspire the reader to plan his or her own unique trip by Rail through Morocco.
