Everyone Believes in Magic: A Discussion of God, God Haters, and the Beginning of the Universe

by Dr. Tim St. Peters

This book tackles many subjects that will challenge you and make you think. Thinking is a lost art that seems to have gone by the wayside. This book isn't intended to blame TV, the public schools, atheists, scientists, Democrats, the Tea Party, your minister growing up, your parents, the emergent teachers, or postmodernism. It is intended to challenge folks to think, process, and to attempt to know all that they can learn. Living a lie or living in an unchallenged bubble, to me, seems like a life not very well lived.

SPELLBOUND: An Epic Time Travel Fantasy (Young Adults)

by M. I. Speer

During a tour of an Irish castle, Caitlin, an American student on spring break encounters the legendary Jared Kellan, a 13th-century warrior said to have been cast in a spell by an evil sorcerer. Both are unaware she is a modern day blood relative and exact likeness of Kayla, the woman Jared believes betrayed his family.

Later that night, bent on vengeance, Jared thinks his magical amulet has led him to Kayla. As he stands on Caitlin's hotel balcony on the stormy night, the glass door opens and he enters her room while she sleeps. As Caitlin wakes, she and Jared engage in a struggle that activates the amulet’s protective powers which transport them back to medieval times and into a world on the brink of war against the evil sorcerer.

Barely dressed in her night clothes, barefoot and cold, and armed only with her pepper spray, Caitlin makes a startling discovery as she finds herself in a violent world at the mercy of the handsome but vengeful stranger. Glad for her archery and self-defense lessons in college, Caitlin soon learns it takes more than a pretty face to survive plus a bit of magic in a time without laws or justice where only the strong survive. Motivation & Money Series: Energy to Success, Reveal the Secret to Success in 3 Simple Steps: Success Motivation

by Orlando Watson

DO YOU REALLY WANT TO EXPERIENCE SUCCESS

Only if you ask will you know the answer.

On an average day, an average person spends less than 4 hours doing anything that is productive.

What is productive?

Is making a phone call or browsing the internet or watching TV or attending a meeting, productive? It depends on who you are and what you want to do.

If you are a salesperson, then making a phone call could be productive. If you are a news or entertainment program producer then watching TV could be productive.

If you are an online marketing professional, then online browsing can be a productive way to spend your time. If you are a social activist or politician, then attending meetings could be highly productive.

Who are you?

What do you want to achieve?

How can you achieve it?

Does this book have the answers to these questions?

No. Only you have the answers to these questions.

When we say an average person spends less than 4 hours a day being productive, are we talking about you?

Are you an average person?

Do you really want to be just an average person? If yes, then this book is not for you.

This book is for you if you know that you are not meant to lead an ordinary life. This book is for you if you see yourself doing extraordinary things. This book is for you if you know that you can and you should do more than what you are doing right now. This book is for you if you believe in your infinite potential to be who you want to be and to do what you want to do.

This book does not contain answers, but it has a series of exercises which will enable you to find the answers to your questions. In fact, this book will even help you to ask the right questions:

Who am I?

What does success mean to me?

How can I achieve success?

Are you ready to take ACTION towards success? Grab this book and start to make a change.

Purgatory is a Place Too (Not Quite Eden Book 5)

by Dominique Kyle

Sixteen year old Cody, Eve's new client for her Formula Two Stocks Induction business, begs Eve to help a friend of hers. Jessica tells a heart rending story of being groomed by a gang for underage sex and being trafficked to other towns for the same purpose. But when Eve approaches Jessica's mental health team, her social worker claims that Jessica is making it up to gain attention and is basing all her wild stories on research she's done on the internet into the recent Rotherham gang grooming scandal. No-one seems inclined to help Eve try to sort fact from fiction, not the local police, press or psychiatric services, so she is forced to do a deal with the team from ITV who used to work on the 'Thrills and Spills' documentary - if she and Quinn agree to do a short series with them, they will find her an investigative journalism team to help her go undercover to break open the secretive underworld that Jessica insists exist in their town.So with Quinn as back up, Eve sets about posing as a fourteen year old girl in the hopes that a gang member will take the bait. And since Jessica is claiming that the men are all of Pakistani origin, Eve is uncomfortably aware that if this turns out to be true it will tear the whole town apart and whatever the outcome Eve herself will probably be accused of being a racist. To defend herself from this, she recruits her young Muslim male contact, Sahmir, to go undercover with her, and they set out to disprove the claims that their home town is the hotbed of yet another shocking gang grooming abuse ring. Unfortunately she can't tell any of her friends and work colleagues about what she is up to and her increasingly odd behaviour is making them concerned. Add to this the pressures of a full Stocks calendar as she tries to gain both the National Points Championship and World Championship in the same year, and things were always bound to get out of control...(Based on some true events)

SLEEPY HOLLOW: General of the Dead (Jason Crane Book 3)

by Richard Gleaves

The exciting conclusion to Jason Crane's Sleepy Hollow adventure! The first two novels, "Rise Headless and Ride" & "Bridge of Bones" were only a prelude to this extraordinary work spanning three hundred years of true Tarrytown history, interwoven with the Legends, myths, and superstitions of the Dutch settlers. Impeccably researched and deeply imagined, with absolute fidelity to the modern village, its sights, places and byways. A brew of Witches and Headless Horsemen, Ghosts and Necromancers, Psychics, Superheroes, Scooby-Doo and a teen hero in a mess of trouble. A love letter to Halloween itself, to America's first literary master Washington Irving, and to the village he loved so well. A must for any fan of Irving's original, or anyone young or old who still has a pumpkin-carving kid inside them.

From the back cover:
JASON CRANE floats between life and death.

Deathspell: vengeance, magic, and historical fantasy (Ascendant Book 1)

by Connor Peterson

DEATHSPELL is the first book in a brand-new series written by USA Today Bestselling Author Peter Dawes.

Praise for the Author:
"...on Dawes' writing style one word comes to mind: elegant."
"He paints a vivid picture in your mind and never lets up..."

A boy orphaned by violence grows up in the shadow of his father's murder. His older brother offers him a home, but the life of a farmer is a poor fit for Christian Richardson.

Set in England in the 1400s, the Wars of the Roses litters the country with plenty of jobs for a young mercenary trained in how to wield a sword. Christian grows out of his youth and becomes a capable fighter, one who inherited his father's blade. As a member of the Brotherhood of the Black Rose, he puts coins in his pockets and food in his stomach, but every day he searches for the sigil of the men who took his father's life.

Finally, after years skirting the edges of a group called the Luminaries, he'll make a discovery that will put him in reach of his goal. Vengeance.

The sword was not the only possession his father had given to him, though, and unbeknownst to Christian, the Luminaries have been hunting for Richard's son - the boy who escaped from them nearly a decade ago - just as he has been scouring for signs of them.

An almost successful attempt on his life reveals hidden gifts, and even more secrets that his father had taken to the grave. As Christian reaches the threshold of claiming revenge, he faces the realization that retribution might come at a high price. Will he listen to the pleas of his loved ones, cautioning him away from danger? Or will his pursuit for justice take him down a path from where he can never return?

The Cult of New Canaan: An Amari Johnston Novel, Volume 2

by R.A. Williams

A UFO cult tries to steal the Shroud of Turin in a preposterous scheme to gain eternal life. Amari Johnston is a feisty private investigator fresh out of college. In 1988, she made the national news after debunking the carbon dating performed on the Shroud of Turin. Her boyfriend, Dr. Kevin Brenner, is a brilliant young physicist with his own theories as to why the carbon dating is wrong. One year later, they find themselves in a dangerous situation, one that could land them in the headlines again—and the obituary section as well. A devout Christian named Ernesto Galliano shares Amari and Kevin’s passion for proving the Shroud is the authentic burial cloth of Christ. As sole heir to his father’s vast fortune, Ernesto is determined to use his inheritance for good. He hires Amari and Kevin to join his own personal A-Team, an organization he formed to right the world’s wrongs, one mission at a time. At first reluctant to join this team, Amari’s father, veteran homicide detective, Pete Johnston, finally agrees to take the job so he can protect his daughter from harm. Amari’s bizarre first mission comes after a UFO cult attempts to steal not only the Shroud of Turin but also the Sudarium of Oviedo. However, in a surprising twist of fate, she and Kevin find themselves captured by the very cult they pursue. Desperate to save Kevin and his daughter, Pete unravels clues previously discovered by Amari in a frantic attempt to rescue them before they fall victim to the cult leader’s suicidal vision. Although this novel is Volume 2 in the Amari Johnston series, it can easily be read as a standalone title.

HASTA BRATA: Leadership Principles of Ancient Java (Indonesian Wisdom Series Book 3)

by Ahmad Dzikran

Javaneses classic wisdom teachings about leadership based on cosmic consciousness
that every celestials and nature things contains valuable leadership lessons, such as
the sun, stars, earth, wind, sea, fire and many more.

Those nature elements symbolize noble characters that should be imitated by all leaders in this world. For example, Star (Kartika) is a symbol of calmness, commitment, and consistency.

Kartika means star; even though at night the stars in the sky seem very small, in reality their actual size is many times bigger than what we can perceive with our eyes when looking at it from the earth. So we should not so easily be mislead by what our eyes are trying to make us believe. Likewise, a leader should not feel intimidated by the first impression he gets. Although he may be aware of his own deficits or incapabilities, yet he should always firmly believe in himself. This optimistic attitude will enable him to overcome any obstacle he faces in life.

Thus, the Asta Brata teaching tells Man how to cultivate cosmic awareness. In this way, then, the entire universe and everything that resides within it, will become useful means for contemplation of one’s earthly existence. Then the higher meaning and purpose of life will become evident to him, which ultimately will lead him to the realization of liberation (Sanskrit: moksa).

Beautifully Broken

by W Poet

He was a Warrior poet with a broken soul, and she, an Angel whisper, that cries on a cloud alone. You ever just want to fight for two people you know should be together. You want to give them that hope, that vision to see through the fog of loneliness, and lost dreams. To find one another. This is that story, there are many fragments missing but I have put it together as best I can. I am not an author so forgive me.It is not such an uncommon story anymore. Two people meet online and they fall in love, but back in 2006 it was a new world. Cyberspace, where two souls meet: no filters, just our words, our thoughts. People meet this way and marry all the time these days, but my love story became my tragedy.I guess I am sharing this because the memory has been trapped too long. Why is it that we need others to share our pain?within the flow of tears from our bleeding hearts we stain others, allowing ourselves to heal.No one saw me bleed, no one knew about us. Falling in love with someone thousands of miles away and never hearing their voice, never looking into their eyes, never feeling the warmth of their skin...I told no one, not my family not my Friends, and when the walls came crashing down, I had no one to hold, and so I fell.W.P.

Sundog Daze: A Western Adventure (Sundog Series Book 2)

by Ash Lingam

"Hang-em high boys. Make sure there is a six-foot drop so the outlaw dies clean from a snap of the neck," said old Judge Roy Bean, the man they called the Hanging Judge. Captain Ridge Creek of the Texas Rangers stood by as the hangman focused on the task at hand. The outlaw that Ridge brought to justice on the trail to Laredo for his appointment at dawn with the noose and hell. As eighteen sixty approached the lawlessness on the Texan border with Mexico was still rampant. Violent raids from banditos, outlaws, Comanche, gunfighters and Mexican gun hands hired by south of the border ranchers. It was an onerous task and the responsibility of the small band of Texas Rangers. Especially the Ranger the Comanche called 'With Dead Eyes'. The man who instilled fear in the outlaws and Plains Indians alike. This is the story of Ridge Creek’s younger years. This West Texan lawman is as hard as a coffin nail and makes this true western adventure a great read. Vol. 2.

Mysteries of the Bible

by Kenneth Edward Barnes

In this book of about 55,000 words, I will try to reveal some startling verses of Scripture that will shed light on some mysteries that have been hidden for centuries.
In this book, I will discuss topics such as: Is the Lord going to physically return to the earth and if so, how and when? What happens when you die? Who are the two witnesses the Bible mentions and where are they today? Who is the Antichrist? Did Jesus mean what He said in the Gospels? He said in one Scripture, “If you have the faith as a grain of mustard seed you can say unto this mountain be removed and it will obey you,” yet no one has ever even come close to doing this. Did He lie? If not, what did He mean? What is God’s name? When was Christ born? When did Christ die and when was He resurrected, plus several other topics that may surprise you like: What is the Mark of the Beast. When will the Battle of Armageddon take place? The Bible tells many of these mysteries if you know where to look.
Why am I doing this and why am I wanting to do it? The Bible says in II Timothy 2:15, “Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
I am in my latter years and none of us knows how many days we have left on this earth. I wanted to write this before I leave this life so others might come to know and understand what I have searched for my entire life. The Lord said, “Lay up your treasures in heaven”, Matthew 6:20. In addition, in Matthew 19:21, Christ told the rich young ruler to give his possessions to the poor and he would have treasure in heaven. This book and some of my others, is my work that I am laying up in heaven. I am using my talent of writing to share what I have learned from God’s word so that it might help others and increase their faith. “So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God,” Romans 10:17. If my writing helps you then you, too, can use my words to tell and share with others to help them. This way you can share in the work I do and my work will be part of your works and you will be rewarded by the Lord when He returns.
I am also writing this book to give insight into some of the hidden mysteries of the Bible. Many today say they want to know God and have a closer walk with Him, but is this true? I will challenge you to follow Him and not man.
I am going to try to explain some of the things that I‘ve discovered over the years in studying the Scriptures. I have been seeking for the truth since I was a teenager of fourteen (which was in 1965). Christ says in His word, “Seek and you shall find; knock and it shall be open unto you.” If you truly look for the truth, you can find it. You must listen to what the Word says, however, and not to any man, a church or even a world leader. “If you question something that I have written, look for yourselves. Christ is the truth, so you cannot go wrong in following Him. Therefore, do not read this book unless you have an open heart and really want to know the truth.
In my book “Christ: His Words, His Life” I have much of this at the end in my commentary called “Food For Thought”. If you wish to read the four Gospels woven into one, I suggest you read this one. It is written to make it easier to read and understand and is written like any other novel. All royalties from the book “Christ: His words, His Life” will go to “Feed the Children” organization. Thank you.

The book, although irreverent, basically follows the original biblical version. The author humanizes the characters and tells the events with the humor that characterizes his style. It includes God's monologue about the Creation, Joseph as the first psychoanalyst, Queen Esther's diaries, newspaper headlines at the time of Moses, interviews with Goliath's mother and Samson's parents, a conference by the prophet Jeremiah, and much more.

The choice is whether to continue to wallow in his down-low lifestyle of homosexuality or come out and repent before God, his family and the members of the church. A lot is at stake. Pastor Johnson is not only at risk of losing his family, but also the church he built from the ground up along with the fortune he has amassed.
