King Henry V

by William Shakespeare

Henry V is a history play by William Shakespeare, believed to have been written near 1599. It tells the story of King Henry V of England, focusing on events immediately before and after the Battle of Agincourt (1415) during the Hundred Years' War. In the First Quarto text, it was titled The Cronicle History of Henry the fift,[1]:p.6 which became The Life of Henry the Fifth in the First Folio text. The play is the final part of a tetralogy, preceded by Richard II, Henry IV, Part 1, and Henry IV, Part 2. The original audiences would thus have already been familiar with the title character, who was depicted in the Henry IV plays as a wild, undisciplined young man. In Henry V, the young prince has matured. He embarks on an expedition to France and, his army badly outnumbered, defeats the French at Agincourt.

by John Buchan

Major General Sir Richard Hannay is a fictional secret agent created by Scottish novelist John Buchan and made further popular by the 1935 Alfred Hitchcock film The 39 Steps. Before long, Hannay finds himself in possession of a little black book that holds the key to the conspiracy — and on the run from both the police and members of a mysterious organization that will stop at nothing to keep their secrets hidden.Greenmantle Hannay is called in to investigate rumors of an uprising in the Muslim world, and undertakes a perilous journey through enemy territory to meet his friend Sandy in Constantinople. Once there, he and his friends must thwart the Germans' plans to use religion to help them win the war, climaxing at the battle of Erzurum.Mr StandfastRecalled from duty on the Western Front by spymaster Sir Walter Bullivant, Hannay goes undercover as a pacifist, working to outwit a dangerous German spy and his agents. Guided by his contact—and love interest—Mary Lamington, Hannay tracks his enemy from London to Glasgow to the Scottish Highlands, eventually confronting him in a dramatic climax above the battlefields of Europe. BirthRight (La Patron Series Book 1)

by Sydney Addae

When you’re the top wolf on the continent with the backing of the Goddess, how does an enemy topple your kingdom? By challenging you to a fight? No. By changing the rules.

After three hundred years of fighting and service to the Goddess, Silas Knight is the Patron, Alpha to the Alphas on the North American continent. As the top wolf, he fears little and has seen most things. But when he discovers someone or something has been quietly disturbing the natural order of things, he’s surprised. Certain human women have the ability to birth fully functioning wolves, and that’s a major problem.

Jasmine Bennett has no idea her deceased husband was a wolf shifter or that her twin sons are shifters. Her life changes when she rushes to her son’s bedside after he’s wounded in Afghanistan and returned stateside. Now her life’s in danger because of her ability to give birth to a breed of beings she never knew existed.

“I apologize for the mix-up, your Honor,” the doctor said in low tones. “It appears the commander in Afghanistan who normally handles these transfers was in the field. Your nephew departed with a few other injured soldiers to Germany instead of France. Later, they shipped him here. However, the attending physicians did not have a chance to look him over. I took over within an hour of his arriving. The head physician wanted to have a team examine him before approving the transfer to the specialty hospital,” the smaller man said as he walked alongside Silas.
At the last comment, Silas stopped and raised his brow.
“None of them did,” the doctor rushed to say. “I bought in another team who approved the change of venue.”
“I am disappointed with such a break-down in the system. We have people in place all over the world to prevent these incidents. . Now, I must determine if this type of thing happens frequently. After all, the military notified me because I am his next of kin. Otherwise, I would have no knowledge of the fuck-up.”
The doctor swallowed hard and followed Silas down the hall. Security had checked and approved the safety of the hospital floor. Employees glanced in his direction, but quickly averted their eyes. His long-legged stride through the sterile space signaled his frustration. His aides walked a few feet behind him, waiting for a sign to come forward. The door to his godson’s room opened as he approached.
His heart stuttered at the sight of bandages and machinery attached to the young man who was like a son to him. One of his greatest sorrows in his long life was his inability to reproduce. Cameron’s parents had been his closest friends prior to his rise as Patron, and he'd promised them to look after their son before they died in a tragic hunting accident
“Cameron,” he lowered his voice as he spoke, not wanting to frighten the younger man.
At first there was no response. Then a slight movement of his hand signaled he'd heard.
“Son, I am here. We will take you where you can recuperate faster. You need special care, Doctor Fields has already made the arrangements and you will be leaving soon.” He moved closer and touched the young man’s hand. The slight flinching beneath his confirmed Cameron heard and knew someone, if not him in particular, was with him. For the moment he had to be satisfied with that.
“We will discuss this attraction you have with dangerous situations when you are able. You promised to focus on a family, that means a mate, kids,” whispering, he leaned forward. “Pups.” He pulled a chair near the bed and sat, hand on top of the injured man’s hand and waited.
Within minutes, a gurney entered the room, and the transfer process started. “La Patron, may I have a word with you?” Dr. Fields asked with some hesitation and stepped backward.
Silas nodded.
“There is another case here that has caught my attention. I think you need to know about this one, there is an unregistered shifter –”
“He dies.” Silas retorted. “You know the rules.”
“I understand, but this is different. The shift

Developing Your Intuition: 5 Simple Steps To Help You Live a More Intuitive Life

by Michael Hetherington

The aim of this book is to help you connect more readily and easily with your intuition. We all have the capacity for intuitive insight; in fact, intuition is already within us - whether we are aware of it or not.

Having intuition doesn’t involve having psychic powers or having to visualize white lights coming out of our heads. These common “new age” style techniques are not at all necessary to develop our intuition. In some cases, these techniques further impair our capacity to be intuitive simply because it can add more clutter into our minds. Developing your intuition is not about adding more or wanting more, it’s about throwing things out and wanting less – when we have cultivated a healthy space within, we can hear, see and feel our intuition more clearly.

This book will help you to understand what intuition is and why it is an important part of our lives. It will outline some very simple and progressive steps to take in order to de-clutter the mind so that you can become more aware and sensitive to your intuitive abilities.

The Salesman’s Guide to Dating: A Sales Book About Making Connections... With an Unexpected Twist!

by David Masover

Why is sales so hard? It’s just talking to people, so what’s the big deal? For most people, sales and dating are both hard - and for the same basic reason.Talking to someone when we are hoping for a specific outcome is much more than “just talking”. Our desire for a specific outcome makes a huge difference in how we think about it, feel about it, and perform during the communication. So what can we do to be more effective when we want to have a conversation that leads to a certain outcome? There is no trick, but there is a winning methodologyThere are no guarantees or sure-fire tricks to ensure that any specific conversation will end the way you want it to, but if you want to improve your chances that over the course of many conversations you will increase your odds of getting the results you want - then having a system helps - a lot.But what does dating have to do with sales?Sales and dating are both about making connections and building on them. There are - of course - many differences, but also some similarities that can be learned from - in both directions.Blending together ideas about dating in the context of selling, and selling in the context of dating, The Salesman’s Guide to Dating is a short, fun blend of these two connection-building activities. In other words, this little book will show you how to start your connection-making and connection-building efforts the right way, and to follow that right way through to the end - whatever your desired end result might be.What exactly will I learn from the book? How to find the best places to look for the right potential connectionsHow to reach out to those connections in a way that starts you out on the “right foot”How to make sure early on that both of you feel that it’s worth the time to get to know each otherHow to learn what the other person is looking for, and to establish yourself as the person to get that fromHow to make suggestions for moving forward together that are more likely to succeedHow to respond to questions, concerns and other forms of reluctanceHow to set up success - however you define it - by following the right path to get there from the startBy the end of the book, you will see how - in certain ways - sales and dating have a lot in common. More importantly, you will be able to see a path to success in both sales and dating that is clear, holistic, and actionable.Find what you are looking forWhether you are looking for love or looking to make quota - by the time you are done with the book, you will know what you need to do to reach the results you are after, and the steps you need to take to get there.About the author:David Masover was not a natural born salesperson. In fact, he completely bombed in his first two sales jobs. But sales was the first job that Masover failed at, and he was unwilling to let selling beat him, so he did what the son of a scientist should do. He studied and he experimented. Over the course of a few years and a few jobs, Masover created systems and tested ways of executing and organizing his sales work. His results began to improve, and while sales is never easy, using his methodology, selling became systematic. Over time, Masover began managing, training, consulting, blogging and writing based on these tried and true organic methods. The result is a proven sales methodology designed to empower anyone with the will to invest the effort to succeed in sales. Masover is an Amazon Kindle best selling author of books on sales and sales management and is a co-founder of Branders.com, the world's largest online seller of promotional products, Masover is currently engaged in private sales coaching, consulting, blogging, speaking and writing.
